Beautiful hadmade beaded panels from the country of Nigeria. These large panels are made of thousands of tiny tiny colored plastic beads. The patterns formed but not limited to animals, masks, geometrical motifs and flora. In days of old the panels usage was similar to that of the Dogon tribal doors whereas they announced the tribal status of the resident or an admired attribute that he possessed. Today these hardwood panels serve as decorative banners used in homes and taken out during important village affairs. The backing are covered with their famous Ashoke cloth.
