From the country of Mali a beautiful hand painting depicting a typical village scene. A woman carefully grinds grain in front of one of the three thatched dwellings while three other ladies approach from the distance bringing more work to be tended to. Surrounding native trees fill the blue clouded sky. There are a few smudges on the canvas from handling that can be wiped off or covered up by framing. The canvas has been well stretched and secured on the wooden base frame.
