Adhering to this philosophy the Ghana carver has skillfully crafted miniature elephants from a small pieces of ebony wood and bone(white).They are suspended upon a tough black fiber cord decorated with hand crafted cylindrical ebony wood and bone pieces, spherical sections, silver metal coils and balls. Necklaces of this type are worn by men, women and children alike.
